"Graham
has achieved spectacular success within the music business, and there
is little doubt that he is going
places. His name and reputation is spreading – a recent limited edition
book he produced, for example, sold out within a few months. It’s been
a natural progression and it’s one that Graham has achieved while still
keeping his personal contact with his subjects and his integrity – and
sanity – fully intact."

"Since
his photographic debut, Smith has gone on to work with some of the
biggest names in the industry like Razorlight, R.E.M.,
Editors, Scissor Sisters......Nonetheless he remains ever-modest about
his achievements."

"Authenticity
creates the most powerful images. Music photography is, first and
foremost, about the music and therefore my approach is quite
simple. Spend time with the artist, get to know them, chat about music
and get them to open up.
Then it's
simply about documenting. In my opinon a successful
photograph is one that shows the musician as they truly are."
